I've been following Derek Pitts for about 6 months now when a friend put me onto his music. I was very intrigued by his sound and excited to finally see him live last night at The Roxy. Derek’s Blues R&B music kept the crowd grooving in their seats and on the dance floor throughout the night. His raspy soulful voice is very intoxicating. You could tell how much a Derek loves what he's doing by the enthusiasm and playful excitement he has on stage.
