Three great headlining bands converged at Abbotsford Centre on Tuesday, Aug. 28th for an all-ages show. Local garage rock duo The Pack AD warmed up the crowd to set the mood for what was sure to be a roudy night.
The lights dimmed before Bush came exploding on to the stage, starting the evening off with some of their earliest hits from their 25+ year catalogue of music. The crowd went wild as Gavin Rossdale commanded the stage on the song “Everything Zen”.
Next up was Stone Temple Pilots. Singer Jeff Gutt worked the crowd as the band started their set with classics “Wicked Garden”, “Vasoline”, and “Big Bang Baby”. The audience was standing at full attention for the entire set that included many of their hits and a couple of songs off of their latest self-titled album.
A short break with the lights darkening set the tone for the final act of the night, The Cult, who delivered a moody set that included songs spanning their entire history.
